Plycarbonate skylight roof sheet

Polycarbonate Roofing Sheets deliver lightweight, durable protection with excellent light transmission. Polycarbonate Skylight Roofing Sheets enhance natural lighting in buildings.

Polycarbonate embossed translucent sheets

Profile features :

Transparent polycarbonate skylight profile sheets are an effective way to allow natural light into aluminium roofs. Embossed sheets offer controlled light transmission, contributing to energy efficiency. Using these sheets minimizes the need for artificial lighting during daylight hours, leading to significant savings on energy costs.

Transparent polycarbonate profile sheets are available in a standard thickness of 2 mm with embossing.

Multiwall polycarbonate sheets:

These sheets are engineered to block heat while permitting light wavelengths to penetrate, making them an excellent energy-efficient solution. Multiwall sheets, particularly in 6 mm and 8 mm thicknesses, are ideal for applications such as wiregrass in north light sheds.

Advantages :
  • Exceptional shading properties with superior heat reflection compared to competing materials.
  • An aesthetically pleasing finish.
  • Eco-friendly composition.
  • Available in various thicknesses, including 6 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm.

Skylight SunInside

The Skylight SunInside is a tubular daylighting system developed through technical collaboration with 3M India Ltd. This system integrates natural light into indoor spaces through an innovative four-component design:

1. Collection System :

A UV-resistant, clear polycarbonate dome with a flange captures sunlight.

Parameter Specifications
Transmission Minimum 80%
Refractive Index 1.58
Service Temperature -10ºC to 80ºC
Thickness 2mm at flange
2. Guidance System :

This component consists of an aluminium sheet coated with a high-reflectivity mirror film.

  • Specifications
  • Aluminium Sheet Thickness: 0.4mm
  • The mirror film ensures 99% luminous reflectivity and over 90% bandwidth reflectivity for light wavelengths between 400 and 775 nm at angles of 0–80 degrees.
  • A protective plastic sheet covers the mirrored surface until installation.
3. Diffuser

A lens diffuser crafted from UV-stabilized polycarbonate film ensures uniform light dispersion.

Parameter Specifications
Diffuser type Lens
4. Roof Mounting System
Specifications

The mounting system ensures an airtight setup to prevent dust infiltration and maintain reflectivity. It also insulates the tube from heat transfer.

Installation involves mounting the system at a variable-angle elbow to match the roof's slope, ensuring the daylight tube remains parallel to the ground. The assembly is placed on an FRP base profile matching the roof sheet, with a hole of up to 675 mm in diameter cut into the roof for installation.

Technical Specifications

A UV-resistant, clear polycarbonate dome with a flange captures sunlight.

Component Specifications
Diameter (4 ft long duct) 500 mm
Typical Coverage Area 750 sq. ft - 1200 sq. ft, depending on Lux requirement and height of installation

This innovative daylighting system channels sunlight indoors, illuminating spaces that traditional windows or skylights cannot reach.

Key Benefits of Skylight Integration Over FRP or Polycarbonate Sheets:

1. Enhanced safety for workers on the roof.

2. Prevention of water leakage during installation.
