In modern factory buildings, fire safety has become a critical priority. With over 90% of fire-related fatalities caused by smoke inhalation or burns, advanced technology is essential for quick and effective responses. Geometric Steels introduces cutting-edge Electric-Operated Windows, designed to provide seamless operation through manual activation via a fire alarm button or automatic response via sensors. These windows combine efficiency with contemporary aesthetics and are available in two configurations: Above Hanging Windows and Below Hanging Windows. The choice between these options depends on the building's specific location and utility requirements.
Fire and smoke pose serious risks, making effective smoke and heat evacuation systems crucial in safeguarding lives. In large industrial spaces, these windows also serve as intake vents, improving air circulation when paired with exhaust systems.
The system comprises an electric window opener, a control unit, and a smoke sensor. When a fire is detected, the sensor sends a signal to the controller, which activates the motor to automatically open the windows. Alternatively, if the fire is noticed before the sensor activates, the windows can be manually opened using a fire alarm button.
These configurations cater to diverse building requirements, ensuring both functionality and adaptability.
